QA Engineer

GUJARAT RADIATION SERVICES LLP is looking for motivated engineering and science graduates to join our team as QA Engineer Trainees in the field of Medical Diagnostic Imaging Equipment.
This is a specialized career opportunity at the intersection of engineering, healthcare, radiation safety, and regulatory compliance. Selected candidates will receive structured training and exposure to Quality Assurance (QA) testing, equipment calibration, AERB compliance, and healthcare technology.
This role involves working with hospitals, diagnostic centers, imaging facilities, and healthcare providers to ensure diagnostic equipment meets the quality and safety standards mandated by the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB).
Freshers with the right attitude, technical aptitude, and willingness to learn are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Testing
- Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) testing of medical diagnostic imaging equipment as per AERB guidelines and protocols.
- Perform acceptance testing for newly installed equipment.
- Carry out periodic QA assessments and performance verification activities.
- Assist in radiation safety evaluations and compliance checks at healthcare facilities.
Calibration & Technical Activities
- Perform equipment calibration and functional verification under supervision.
- Support performance assessment of imaging systems and accessories.
- Assist with basic troubleshooting of equipment-related issues identified during testing activities.
- Coordinate with service engineers and technical teams for issue resolution when required.
Regulatory Compliance
- Prepare, review, and maintain QA documentation and test records.
- Upload and manage QA reports through the AERB e-LORA portal.
- Support hospitals and diagnostic centers in complying with AERB requirements.
- Ensure all testing activities and documentation meet regulatory standards.
Customer & Field Support
- Visit hospitals, diagnostic centers, and healthcare facilities for testing assignments.
- Coordinate with radiologists, technicians, biomedical engineers, and hospital administrators during site visits.
- Assist in customer demonstrations, user awareness sessions, and training activities where required.
- Maintain accurate site visit records, activity reports, and compliance documentation.

Educational Qualifications
Candidates should possess any one of the following:

- BE / BTech in Electrical / Electronics / Biomedical / Instrumentation Engineering (12 + 2 + 4 format)
- BSc / MSc Physics

Gujarat Radiation Services LLP is seeking motivated Biomedical and Engineering professionals to join our growing technical team as Hospital Equipment Calibration Engineers.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with hospitals, diagnostic centers, healthcare institutions, and medical equipment providers to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and regulatory compliance of critical healthcare equipment.
The selected candidate will be involved in calibration, testing, validation, preventive maintenance support, performance verification, and documentation of a wide range of medical equipment used in healthcare facilities. The role combines technical expertise, field service exposure, customer interaction, and healthcare quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

Calibration & Testing
- Perform calibration and performance verification of biomedical and hospital equipment.
- Conduct routine testing and functional checks as per applicable standards and protocols.
- Verify measurement accuracy, device functionality, and operational performance.
- Assist in validation and qualification activities for medical equipment.
Maintenance Support
- Support preventive maintenance and inspection activities.
- Assist in identifying equipment faults and deviations.
- Coordinate with service teams for troubleshooting and corrective actions.
- Ensure equipment is operating within prescribed performance limits.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare calibration reports, service records, and technical documentation.
- Maintain calibration schedules and equipment history records.
- Ensure all activities comply with quality and regulatory requirements.
- Support audit, accreditation, and compliance-related documentation as required.
Field Service Activities
- Visit hospitals, diagnostic centers, laboratories, and healthcare facilities for on-site assignments.
- Coordinate with biomedical engineers, hospital maintenance teams, and clinical staff.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned service and calibration activities.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers and healthcare personnel.
Quality & Validation
- Participate in equipment validation and quality assurance activities.
- Assist in performance qualification and operational verification exercises.
- Support implementation of quality systems and standard operating procedures.

Educational Qualifications
Candidates should possess any one of the following:
- BE / BTech in Biomedical Instrumentation Engineering
